Shakey Lakes 4th of July Boat Parade

Greetings and Happy Fourth of July Shakey Lakes People!

A few of us Shakey Lakes boaters got together and are going to have a Fourth of July Boat Parade around the Lakes on this Saturday at 11:00 a.m!! We are inviting all of you to join in!

Here are some details to provide some organization and safety.

Time : Staging of boats begins at 10:45 a.m. We will begin parade at 11:00 a.m.

Location: We will set up in East Lake (to the North and East of Boy Scout Point). We will set up behind a Cranberry colored Tracker Targa V18 boat and Black Bennington Pontoon Boat.

Procession: The 2 boats in the lead will commence at 11:00!! and progress around the lakes at approximately 3 ½ mile per hour. This should help with safety and organization.

Course: We will proceed out of East Lake into Resort Lake following the usual counterclockwise direction, thru Long Lake and back past the Park, past Boy Scout Point and end where we started in East Lake.
